Restaurant Tide in Norderney

Great food, maybe the best lamb on the island and very nice but not intrusive service. We had a great evening!

A very cozy restaurant with competent and very friendly staff. Unfortunately, my meal was too salty, so I would have wished for something more than the confirmation from the waiter.

Good food in a pleasant atmosphere, the service was very courteous and attentive. The mussels as a starter are very good and recommendable.

We spent an all-round pleasant evening in the Tide restaurant! The service is decent, friendly and attentive, the food (ox cheeks) delicious, the salt and caramel ice cream full of character. We also sat very nicely. The somewhat pale-tasting rosé "Nordkommission" was withdrawn in favor of a more expressive plant without an expression of indignation.

I have to say, we had a really nice evening here with delicious food! The service was very friendly and above all natural! Not superficially polite, but natural and, as you write about yourself, 'warmly'. We felt very comfortable here and would definitely come again. Important: Make a reservation in any case. Every seat here was occupied. Spontaneously, you certainly tend to have problems.

Great restaurant. Delicious food and friendly, empathic service. Great atmosphere with an open kitchen. Always a vegan dish on the menu! Very well! It will now be a fixed date for future Norderney stays.

When it comes to restaurants, I'm actually a notorious grumbler and relatively “picky”. The restaurant Tide was able to convince me in every way. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were greeted very friendly and brought to our table. Overall, the service is outstanding and is very positive. Attentive, but not too pushy, friendly and still professional (even if one or the other red and white food fan is hanging around among the staff - be forgiven for once!). As an example, it should be mentioned that we were asked when we could go on with the next course - unfortunately this is not so common these days. The ambience is cozy but still high quality - the large amount of wood gives warmth without appearing too dark. We also liked the plants on the tables. With the food, the restaurant Tide was able to completely convince us. There is creative cuisine and interesting combinations that I have never known before - such as salmon bruschetta or a tartar burger on brioche bread - great! The latter should definitely be included on the season ticket. A very clear recommendation. The evening ended with a wonderful summer berry cream and a cappuccino. We will come back in any case.

Nice restaurant with a nice little menu and nice daily specials. The food was delicious only the dressing from the salad was too sweet for us. This was recorded and passed on by the waitress. The service from our waitress was PERFECT. Haven't had such a nice service for a long time. Will have dinner there again.

Okay restaurant with a nice selection of German wines. Home-made bread with various dipping flavours was superb, the menu isn't super inventive. Friendly waiters! My glas had a huge lipstick mark on. Given the COVID situation this is a total no go.

We were here with 6 people for dinner. It was just great from the waitress to the food. I had a pork shoulder, delicious. We were all very, very happy

Overall, a clear recommendation. Prices are above average and stand with the portions in a fair ratio of size and quality. Quality is very good from the food and the service is very friendly. We were there Sunday night. We were able to sit outside with 4 toddler and had enough space! The entrance is a bit inconspicuous, but it is rewarded with a good restaurant level. The map is manageable, clearly put to the point. Highly recommended The fish dishes are, as well as the meat dishes, a decent size. We are well fed. If the info helps, thumbs up.

Excellent taste experience. The portions are big. The curry soup was delicious. The main course and dessert were also excellent. Service was very courteous.
